Outlook Add-inMicrosoft 365 + SharePoint

Turn every Outlook inbox into a SharePoint filing workspace

Wingman helps teams capture emails, upload attachments, manage documents, and insert SharePoint files into replies without leaving Outlook. It removes tab switching, reduces filing mistakes, and keeps customer communication and document storage aligned.

What You Can Do

Built for real email and document workflows

Wingman is designed for the repetitive tasks teams handle all day: filing correspondence, finding documents, and attaching the right version quickly.

Save entire emails into SharePoint
Capture message context in the correct site, library, and folder so project records stay complete.
Upload current email attachments
Select, rename, validate, and upload attachments directly to SharePoint from Outlook.
Upload local files into SharePoint folders
Add one or many desktop files using Microsoft Graph upload sessions, including larger file flows.
Attach SharePoint files to outgoing emails
Insert selected SharePoint documents into draft replies without downloading and re-uploading.
Browse and search SharePoint content fast
Navigate sites and folders, run file and folder searches, and move through paged results.
Create, copy, download, and delete items
Handle everyday file operations in place so users do not need to leave Outlook for SharePoint.

Designed for speed under inbox pressure

Wingman includes productivity tooling so frequent actions are repeatable, easy to find, and consistent across sessions.

Pin commonly used SharePoint destinations so filing and retrieval stay one-click.
History to jump back instantly
Reopen recent drives and folders quickly when processing similar threads and projects.
Global search and filtered navigation
Search documents or folders and open a focused results sheet without losing context.
Settings + cross-device preference sync
Choose storage mode and sync tree, favorites, and history configuration with OneDrive where enabled.

How It Works

A simple flow from email to SharePoint

Step 1

Open Wingman in Outlook
Launch the add-in in Outlook on the web or desktop. Wingman uses your existing Microsoft 365 session through NAA, so users do not need a separate sign-in.

Step 2

Pick destination or source
Use the tree, favorites, history, or search to choose the right SharePoint location.

Step 3

Run the action and continue emailing
Upload an email, upload attachments/files, or attach SharePoint documents to your reply and keep moving.

IT And Compliance

Security and governance aligned with Microsoft 365

Wingman is built to minimize data movement and keep operations within your tenant wherever possible.

Modern Microsoft authentication
Uses OAuth 2.0 with MSAL/NAA. User credentials are handled by Microsoft Identity Platform.
Direct Microsoft Graph data operations
Email and SharePoint operations are executed from the client via Graph delegated permissions.
No server storage of email or file content
Wingman does not store message bodies, attachments, or SharePoint file contents on its backend.

Rollout

Admin-friendly deployment and license control

Wingman is distributed through Microsoft channels and supports organisation-controlled assignment and access.

Acquire through Microsoft Marketplace
Install via Microsoft Marketplace and manage deployment with Microsoft 365 admin processes.
License-aware app gating
Users are authenticated through Microsoft 365 and license status is validated before protected functionality is enabled.
Clear support path
Built-in support page and API intake flow allow teams to submit setup or usage issues quickly.
Trial and subscription ready
Terms support trial and paid licensing models based on your Microsoft purchase channel.
